Members of the Caledonia Fire Department traveled this week to Pierce in Appleton, WI to view their new Pumper/Tanker.  The truck should arrive in NY the week of March 17th.  Once it does we will have some more pictures of the truck.  Photos by Chris Beach and Jay Lynch

The Caledonia Fire District has taken deliver of a new Pierce Rescue.  Here are the details:  2007 Pierce Sabre Chassis with a 19 1/2 foot Rescue Box; 25 KW Hydraulic Generator; 9000W Nite Scan Light; Genesis Rescue Tools, Cutters, Spreaders, and Ram; 9000 lb. Winch; 2 DeWalt Sawalls; 2 Stokes Baskets; 2 High Lift Jacks; Jaws of Life Extrication Struts; Husqvarna  Chainsaw; RIT Equipment; Water Rescue Equipment; and Salvage Tarps.  Pictures provided by Chris Beach. 

Chief John Morgan, Asst. Chief Alex Curry Jr., along with other members of the York Fire Department traveled to Connecticut on Friday, February 23rd, 2007 to inspect a used Rescue Truck that had been listed on FireTec for sale.  The delegation returned Friday evening with the truck.  York's new to them rescue truck is a 1982 Pierce on a Ford F750 Chassis. York over the next few weeks will be putting the truck in service.  Pictures will be posted as soon as we get them.

West Sparta Fire Department placed into service their new Pumper 584 on September 15, 2007.  Pumper 584 a Pierce Custom Contender, 1000 gallon X 30 gallon Foam 1250 gpm, 400 horse motor.  This unit replaces a 1980 Sanford.  Photo provided by Dave MacAluso.

The Mumford Fire District purchased an E-One Pumper that previously served the Spencerport Fire Department.

The Village of Dansville Fire Department has taken delivery of their new Pumper 514.  It is a Rosenbauer Pumper on a HME Custom chassis, 400 HP Cummins, Six passenger cab with five SCBA seats, Rosenbauer top control formed aluminum pumper body, Hale Q2 1250 GPM pump, 1250 gallon poly tank, Foam Pro 2001 with 30 gallon foam cell, 10" Rear Newton dump valve, Hydraulic ladder rack, 5000w Honda generator, Polished aluminum wheels, Rear rubber safety bumper.

Hemlock Fire Department has placed in service a new HME Arhens Fox Pumper.
