Site Upgrade! Sometime over the next couple of weeks the web site will be moved to a new server. This will save me about $100 a year. During the Migration, you will see a banner "Web Site Is Moving" and will not be able to access the site. Once the site is moved, there will be a temporary IP address until the cache catches up. There will be a messaged displayed with a link, (I believe temporarily) to the web site. |

Terry Farrell Fund - Request Firefighters Assistance
- Update! To All our Friends in the Fire Service - WE NEED YOUR HELP - Please write a letter! Our sponsor, The Jim Beam Company, is in the process of creating a new label. This one will be dedicated to the brothers in the fire service who serve our communities everyday. However, the Beam Company is looking to sell this bottle only in the NYC Metro Market. Our Fund is open to support firefighters across the Country. We have received request from many states asking for the bottle, but Beam does not think there is any interest. We know differently. We are asking you, your organization, and union to write to Beam requesting the sale of the bottle in your area. Please write to: Thomas Flocco, President & CEO, Beam Global Spirit - 510 Lake Cook Road - Deerfield, Il 60015-4964. Or if you prefer, you can email Thomas at: thomas.flocco@beamglobal.com . The Fund has given out over $500,000 in the last 4 years. Please look at our website, terryfarrellfund.org for the 2008 Awards. We don't like to say no to any firefighter or family, but limited funding does not allow us. YOUR SIMPLE LETTER WILL HELP US TO HELP FIREFIGHTERS. Please remember that $ 0.99 of every dollar goes out to the firefighting community. Increased area sales of Beam will increase those gifts. Thank you, Brian Farrell - 516-840-8839, cell - Terry Farrell Fire Fighters Fund. Our Emails worked! The Terry Fund would like to take the time to thank those of you who sent emails. At 10:00 am on March 19th, Brian Farrell received and email from Thomas Flocco advising that his office has been flooded with emails from California, Chicago, Florida, and Upstate NY asking for the firefighters label to be sold in our areas. Mr. Flocco believes this is a good idea and glad to hear there was so much interest across the country. Therefore, he will be sending it to his Marketing Team to open this up to other markets very soon. Beam gives the Terry Fund $2.00 from every case sold, so the more sold, the more benefits the fire service. If you want to see if the Terry Fund can help your department visit their web site.
