On Sunday April 30th the York and Retsof Fire Departments and ambulances were dispatched to a reported barn fire on York Landing Rd in the Town of York. Due to the narrow dead end road a LDH supply line was laid approximately 800'. First truck in encountered  heavy fire and a power line down across the road. Departments assisting York and Retsof were: East Avon, Caledonia Cuylerville Leicester and Pavilion.  Assisting at the scene was the New York State Police and Livingston County Sheriff's Office.  Investigating the cause of the fire is the Livingston County Office of Emergency Management.  Story and photos provided by Jay M.
