Structure Fire - Perry - Saturday - May 26th, 2007

The alarm that no fire fighter wants to hear occurred Saturday Morning May 26th, 2007 in Perry Center.  Perry Center and Perry Fire Departments were dispatched to a reported structure fire at the Perry Center Fire Station on Rt. 246 in the Hamlet of Perry Center.  Perry Center 501 went on location and immediately requested a Second Alarm.  Responding on the second alarm were: Warsaw, Wyoming, Pavilion, Castile, Wyoming Correctional and Leicester Fire Departments.  Castile Fire Department also filled in for Perry Fire Department and York Fire Department filled in for Leicester Fire Department.  Additional ambulances responded from Warsaw and Castile.  Two firefighters were treated for smoke inhalation.   If anyone has fire equipment that you would like to donate to Perry Center, email us, and we will contact one of the Perry Center Chief's with your contact information and what you have to donate.  Photos provided by Jay Lynch.
