Structure Fire - Mumford - Tuesday - May 29th, 2007 On Tuesday morning May 29th the Mumford Fire Department along with automatic mutual aide from Caledonia were dispatched to a reported house fire at 1067 Main Street in Mumford. First unit on scene reported smoke showing, assistance was requested from Scottsville and Churchville. Churchville was placed back in service and Scottsville filled in for Mumford. Avon Fire Department filled in for Caledonia. Further investigation determined a dryer was on fire in the apartment. Story and Photos by Jay Lynch. |
