Water Supply Drill - Dansville - Saturday - June 9th,
2007 On Saturday June 9th the Dansville Fire Department conducted a water supply drill at Babcock Park in the Village of Dansville. Dansville's new engine 514 set up a draft out of one of the three port-a-tanks that were set up and deployed two master streams for the test. Two draft sites were set up at a small creek in the village. On William St. Mount Morris and Sparta used a mini pumper and portable pumps to fill tankers and on Van Campen St. Dansville used portable pumps to pump into a port-a-tank. Dansville's Engine 515 drafted from the port-a-tank to fill tankers. Departments assisting Dansville in the drill were West Sparta, Mount Morris, Sparta, Nunda, Groveland, Conesus, Wayland, Perkinsville and Atlanta North Cohocton Story and Photos by Jay Lynch. |
