On Wednesday September 12th,  The Leicester and Cuylerville fire Departments were dispatched to a report of a truck fire at the corner of River and Perry Rd in the Town of Leicester. Leicester Mini Pumper 133 was the first arriving fire unit on location and encountered a fully involved Ford Ranger. The pick up has been having electrical problems prior to the fire and had some ammunition in the cab that was going off as firefighters were arriving on the scene. Assisting Leicester and Cuylerville were Mount Morris Fire, Mount Morris Ambulance, York Fire on standby for Leicester , Livingston County Sheriff Department and Livingston County Emergency Management.  If you look at picture labeled number four, A shell went of as i was taking this picture.  Story and Photos provided by Jay Lynch.
