It is with great sadness that the Avon Fire Department and the Avon Pumper Company announce the sudden passing of Firefighter Lorraine Vonglis. Lorraine was affectionately called "Ma Vonglis" around the fire station. Lorraine was the FIRST Female Firefighter in Avon and Livingston County.
Calling Hours for Lorraine are Sunday from 1pm to 5pm at the Stephenson Dougherty Funeral Home on Genesee Street in the Village of Avon.

The Perry Center Fire Department is hosting a Circus as a Fund Raiser.
Saturday January 19th, 7pm, at the Perry High School Gymnasium.
$10 Advance Tickets and $15 at the door.
