Sunday April 17th., at around 5:00 AM., York Fire Department was dispatched to Noblehurst Farms for a Digester on fire with exposures at 2813 Stewart Rd. in the Town of York. Past Pavilion Fire Chief went on location and advised that it was now a fully involved barn fire. Livingston County Fire Dispatch informed responding York Fire Units of the updates. Departments responding to the scene or for standby were: York, Caledonia, Leicester, Cuylerville, Avon, Mount Morris, Pavilion, LeRoy, Mumford and Scottsville.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is being conducted by Livingston County Emergency Management office and the Livingston County Sheriff's Department.

A Digested collects Methane Gas from cow manure and uses it to generate electricity. "Cow Power"
