The Mt. Morris Fire Department & Ambulance along with Livingston County ALS were dispatched to a reported structure fire with the possiblity of a person trapped at 11 Lake Street the afternoon of Friday February 25th, 2011.  Mt. Morris Fire Department arrived on location and reported a working fire.  Cuylerville & Leciester Fire Departments were requested to the scene along with Geneseo, Nunda, and Perry Ambulances.  Unfortunately, despite the valent efforts of all the emergency responders, a 1 year old child succombed to injuries as a result of the fire at Noyes Memorial Hospital. 

Nunda Fire Department  and Dansville Ambulance filled in for Mt. Morris. York Fire Department provided a fill in for Cuylerville.  Investigating the scene is the Livingston County Office of Emergency Management.  Assisting at the scene was the Mt. Morris Village Police Department.
