13th, 2008 Honeoye Falls Fire Department hosted its annual Holiday Parade on Saturday December 15th, 2008. Several area fire departments were present. Curt Grant provided these pictures. |

Burn Drill - Rush - Sunday - October 12th, 2008 The Rush Fire Department conducted a Live Burn on Stoney Brook Road at the Rush Rifle Range, MCC Training Facility on Sunday morning October 12th, 2008. Using a tanker shuttle, two dump sites were supplied with water. One dump site at the scene provided water for Honeoye Falls 563 to supply hand lines and a deck gun. The second dump site at Stoney Brook Road and Kavanaugh Road supplied a pumper relay using all of Rush's Pumpers and approximately 2000 feet of 5 inch LDH. Henrietta Fire Department Filled Tankers at the Rush Highway Department while East Avon Filled Tankers on the Honeoye Falls #6 Road. Tankers from Avon, Caledonia, Mumford, Ionia, Lima, Scottsville, and Mendon shuttled water. Rush Ambulance stood by at the scene. The Clifton Fire Department filled in for Rush. Structure Fire - Mumford - Tuesday - May 29th, 2007 On Tuesday morning May 29th the Mumford Fire Department along with automatic mutual aide from Caledonia were dispatched to a reported house fire at 1067 Main Street in Mumford. First unit on scene reported smoke showing, assistance was requested from Scottsville and Churchville. Churchville was placed back in service and Scottsville filled in for Mumford. Avon Fire Department filled in for Caledonia. Further investigation determined a dryer was on fire in the apartment. Story and Photos by Jay Lynch. |

MVA - Rush - Tuesday - March 6th, 2007 The Rush Fire Department and Ambulance along with ALS Henrietta Medic 51 were dispatched to a reported car vs. tractor trailer MVA, with the tractor trailer rolled over, on I390 North near Rush Exit 11, the morning of Tuesday March 6th, 2007. Rush 5C68 went on location and reported a person trapped in the car. After 45 minutes the patient was extricated and transported to an area hospital. Investigating the accident is the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. Assisting at the Scene was the New York State Police and an additional ambulance from Henrietta Ambulance. Assisting with traffic was the East Avon Fire Department, Livingston County Sheriff's Office, and New York State Police who closed North Bound I-390 traffic at Exit 10 in Avon. MVA - Mumford - Tuesday - September 26th, 2006 The Mumford Fire Department and the Caledonia Ambulance with ALS were dispatched to a reported MVA roll over with ejection on North Road near Riga Mumford road the afternoon of Tuesday September 26th, 2006. Mumford Command reported 2 victims had been ejected from the car. Churchville and Scottsville Ambulances and ALS from Henrietta assisted Caledonia and Mumford. |
