Burn Drill - West Sparta - Sunday     July 9th, 2006

On Sunday July 9th the West Sparta Fire Department conducted a controlled burn on Kemp Rd in the Town of West Sparta. The object of the live fire exercise was a house that was being removed to make room for a new one. A tanker shuttle was set up and a LDH supply line was laid from two porta tanks down Kemp Rd 800' to the fire area.  Assisting West Sparta in the drill were Dansville, Mount Morris, Nunda, Cuylerville, Groveland and Leicester on Standby in Mount Morris.  Photos and story provided by Jay Lynch.
